“The 12-Step Chocolate Program: NEVER BE MORE THAN 12 STEPS AWAY FROM CHOCOLATE!” Terry Moore

Whether your taste buds are growing bored with the kosher for Passover items (There’s only so much chocolate-covered matzo one can handle, eh?) or are looking for a delicious yet easy wheat free/gluten free treat, here’s a little something that will bring smiles to all the chocolate lovers in your life:

Fudgy Brownies:

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted (Enjoy Life makes a great GF, DF, and SF alternative)
  2. ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  4. 3 tablespoon water
  5. ½ cup sugar (or 1 cup if you want them truly decadent)
  6. 2 eggs (preferably at room temp.)
  7. ½ cup potato starch
  8. ¼ tsp. salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted chocolate chips, cocoa powder, oil and water until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs. Whisk in chocolate mixture. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined. Transfer batter into prepared baking pan.
  4. Bake 25-28 minutes.
